Original ALIEN premiere photos and prop display

Been searching for photos of the original Alien premiere in Hollywood at The Egyptian for a project - came across these:

There's a bunch on the Blu-ray anthology, disc 6. Also shots of the After party with the cast and Nostromo and other models...

Did you try contacting the Egyptian to see if they have an archive of photos? I would imagine they would keep pictures of their events... Not sure if they'd share them tho.

I saw all of that when it was there. The Space Jockey got set on fire.

I know someone that might have some pics.

edit: LOL I read the article but didn't look who wrote. The author was the person I was going to contact. LOL

I guess she does have pics. Those ones.

Later on, the corridor with Mother and the large Nostromo model were some how at either UCLA or USC (can't remember) on display. Also just sitting there to play with as you wished. I got to walk the corridor, flip open the panel and sit in the chair. It was cool.

I remember seeing a picture in Starlog of the Space Jockey sitting outside in a park shortly before it was torched. What a waste but how stupid can you get displaying it like that?

All we had were the show programs you could buy (still have mine). I remember there being a really good Alien movie photo book, specifically having Lambert being attacked by the Alien - never saw the book again. I'm glad the original, far superior 'what happened to Brett and Dallas' clips and egg creation concepts are out there.

I think the story was a religous nutter tried to burn it as it looked stanic or something.
