So I know the size of the barrels, thanks to RPF member who owns one, I know the size of the window after buying a benzo cooker ( turn out that was ok on Version 1) I'm pretty sure of the size of the cage from the 3 inch base mesh. which gives me the rear deck size as discussed before. I've got the clamshell size and the cleat size and I still keep coming up with a 38ft boat. what am I missing? 2 feet is a lot to make up. Everyone making a full-size boat is making it 40ft. I know a lot of Novi boats listed for sale say 40ft but on the listing, they say actually size 38ft.
If I've got the cage wrong I could make the deck bigger but the cage would not look right.
I might just have to bite the bullet and say my boat is just over 38ft and stick with it. Version 1 was and it feel right.

You've got the aft deck, main cabin,....forward cabin?? V-birth??? So little known about that section of the boat. That would be the only other place to check. Forward cabin like you said can be measured with the barrels. The v-birth and closet(head) (where all the junk falls out) can be measured with a body (figure) to find a bed length, the closet door I'm just guessing would be 7 boards wide like the shutter door opening is and not 9 boards wide like the cabin door and forward cabin bulkhead door are. I'm just guessing at all this, but maybe that's where the other 2 feet are being missed. Hope you're able to follow my crazy logic.

Got the servos mounted, the water tight rod holes and linkages for the tail. Just the mouth mech to make than I can start playing with it in the water

also tried peroxide to get rid of the yellowing on the hand set , it works remarkable well

Model boat show tomorrow on the lake. As last time everyone kept asking where is the shark and RC shark is a few weeks away from being finished I quickly 3D printed another one as a display peace.
