Thank you I somehow missed this when getting screen grabs, so I ran downstairsI'm sure you have already seen this shot, but perhaps if not, it might be of help for the door height?

The main problem with Jaws is that it was shot on 1960s anamorphic lens I believe. Unlike spherical lenses, there can be a change between capture and projection. Some lenses change the amount of distortion(amount of squeeze depending on the focus length. whereas the projection lensGreat work as always - I appreciate your efforts at trying to get as accurate as possible. You mentioned trying to figure out what type of camera lens was used so that you can figure out the proper dimensions, which is something I've recently realized myself in trying to do digital sculpts from reference pics. I've also been doing my own deepfake videos, which has the same problems.
I've realized that lens and camera position can cause distorted facial features, particularly the nose, as it protrudes the most. For 3D modeling, I might get a sculpt looking "perfect" from one reference pic, but when I switch to a different pic, taken with different camera settings, the proportions will look much different and things don't line up right.
With deepfakes, you feed images into the AI, which learns how to recreate the face so that it can replace another face with it, but if your source footage/images include different camera lenses and focal lengths, you can get distorted and inconsistent results.
Anyway, sorry to go off on a tangent - didn't mean to hijack your thread with my thoughts. And I'm probably not saying anything you don't know, but I thought it was interesting that I was recently trying to work out lens distortions too.
Did the club members enjoy the boat? How long was the run time on the battery? Love the way she moves through the water, I had to watch the video several times and watch just the waterline.Well she got here first day out on the water yesterday. she didn't sink. I did go without a polarizing filter and next time I'll take someone with me to focus. I hate the go pro footage but I could think off another way just yet.
I had about 1 hours on the lake. It’s a public lake so there was a lot of people very interested. Which made concentrating on shooting hard. One of the club member drove the boat for me. They thing I’m mad for building another on. The head of the club has submarines and the all said I need to make Bruce. She sits in the water perfectly without weights. I couldn’t get the smoke generator working. I think its over filled. I think I’ll go back. I’m going back to my friend house to shoot close ups next. As last time was a disaster being that it was so cold.Did the club members enjoy the boat? How long was the run time on the battery? I love this video filmzy!
As you know, lights are always tricky...but I like the general ambiance of the video.Hi all yes I know this is too dark I was fighting the using a lens that wide open is only f14 and my cameras base ISO is 400, and I don't own any light small enough yet, for fill. so could only use a torch and the models practical's. I hear you saying why not wait until you have some lights to that I answer, because
