Anybody else here build props in a panic? :lol

I just spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out what to do because my drill bit wandered a bit while drilling. It caused everything that I had spent the previous 30 minutes lining up to perfection to become mis-aligned!!#$@#!

Show us some pics so we can brainstorm/troubleshoot a bit.

Thanks! However, I couldn't leave it until I had it fixed.

I was drilling holes in the mauser ripcode had up for sale in the JY a few days ago. :)

I ended up wallowing out the holes in the bracket to give it some play.

I just thought it was funny because no matter how much my wife yelled at me, I HAD to get it fixed right then and there.

I have the HARDEST time walking away from a screw up until I've got it fixed. It just eats away at you.

Glad you got it taken care of!

WOW, I certainly know how it feels to mess up... and how hard it is to not spend the hours it takes until it is back to the state before the screw-up before leaving it alone.

Then... to go back to it and ending up making the same mistake again, because the mistake has somehow gotten into your mind as the natural next step of things to do, instead of doing it right.

Done that a few times and I can tell you... AAARRRGGGHHH...

:lol

JFT :lol

I had to re-drill the hole for the inner barrel of my WIP IG88 rifle FOUR TIMES!!!

Had to do it by hand and the drill bit slightly wandered, which left the blaster with an off-centered hole. So I filled it up with bondo/ putty, sanded and drilled again and again and again :wacko
