Apoxie Sculpt. I'm still working on it. The wings are a process I'm trying out.

There's a bunch of steampunky stuff that goes on the piece, and a secondary element in the left hand.

The book is called N.O.T.E.

I started it in 1997, and after 12 years I'm finally making it a reality.

It's on DVD . . . and the movie includes some of Stan Winston's first work. I'd say those creatures were more reptilian, with no feathers.

Does the book have pictures, is that why you sculpted this? Or did you just want to make a representation for your own use?

The book is a graphic novel, so yes, it's pictures. A glorified comic book.
