Okay, Who is still making parts of the Obi ANH Saber?

okay, after spending hrs looking :confused and getting yelled at by the girlfriend:wacko, i figured it would be easier to just ask, Who is still making any or all parts for the obi ANH saber.

I don't think any one is currently making parts... Serafino did a run of boosters a while ago, but they're pretty rare to come by now. I think he was planning on tackling the emitter next, but I'm not sure. Other than that, you'll probably have better luck finding a completed saber (I'd hold out for an MR or Romans if you're looking for accuracy).

I believe Serafino still has some boosters left, give him a try. If you want an aluminum booster, you could get one from lonepigeon (next best thing to a Serafino steel booster. Chen did some nice Stainless steel pommels a while back, there might be some floating about. Also, there was a recent run of some nice steel emmiters done by Serafino, but that was before the part was actually discovered, so some changes will be made in the next run (coming soon). Also there is talk of a new grenade run in the future.

My suggestion would be to try to get a Steel Serefino booster replica and then waite patiently while some new supper accurate parts appear over the next year. (But that's me and I want my saber to be a perfect replica)

That was the Obi1/Serafino one right? That was a long time ago. Obi1 had a clearance sale over a year ago and they were dirt cheap!!

The dimensions were real close to an original but the ring of holes were flat and it was a little thin. Serafino modified his ring of holes and it looked real good.

Like Dan said, Serafino's booster is the BEST!!! by far!!

Chen's pommel's are great. They have a good heft to them and are the most accurate around. They need a polish though and they were pricey. I think there were only 9 of them made. Roman's weren't bad. Unfortunately they all have grind marks on the cubes which I don't like.

A Chen grenade is the best one unless Serafino tackles that also. All of Chen's stuff would have to be bought from current owners because he has none left.

Too true too true... But man... My Romans AFBB Obi saber brings a tear to my eye every time I look at it. :lol
