I certainly wish there was a trustworthy individual who is familiar with the Mattycollector site here who would collect some money from 9 people and attempt to order 10 for members. Obviously, any failed attempts would lead to the money being returned (heck, even minus a small buyers fee - or the other 9 offer to all pitch in for the buyer's PKE). I would volunteer but I am TERRIBLE at these things.
If a few people did that, we might be covered. Can't we all work together?

That, my friend, is a great idea! :thumbsup
Well I disagree with you Exoray. My opinion and experiences with Matty Mattel products leads me to believe that a limit of 10 is too much. I think 5 is plenty. If a customer feels that they need more than 5, to trade or provide to their family and friends, or even sell on eBay at twice the price, they can go back through the process and lodge a second order at the site (provided of course that stock is still available).
Don't bother, he just trolls for Mattycollector.

No, he's not. By your own words, you're planning on buying 10, with 5 for 'personal' use, and the other 5 to be held for some possible future time when you might trade or sell them to other collectors, if they have something you want, that is. But any definition, this is hoarding. Spin it any way you want, but that's what you're doing. Just because you and Matty don't think you're doing anything wrong doesn't mean you can expect others collectors to agree. You really are clueless...
Any whispers yet on their follow-up prop? Is it feasable that a licensed proton pack of any decent quality could come out?
One of the Mattel PKE designers talked to my dad at SD Comic-Con, who was in GB gear at the time, that the trap was on the drawing boards!

Would be nice if it were out by Halloween 2011. I've started tooling around with a GB outfit for next year, and I'm finding it a little bit intimidating.
