Official Ghostbusters PKE Meter Prop

It was pointed out to me today over on one of my toy collector sites that Dec. 1st is only two days into Matty's big "Cyber Monday" sale which begins on Nov. 29th. Granted, the 29th is going to be total madness on the site as Matty clears out previously unavailable toys, but there will still be additional activity on Weds. the 1st as we all try to get our PKE meters....

But.. We had Mattel move the sale forward to a non MOTU sale day to aid in our ability to access the site. It shouldn't be a problem. The majority of the fans on during the sale will be there for the PKE Meter..

Although presumably it will take some of the load off the servers, that absolutely stinks for those not in the US.

WTF?!?!? :confused

Thats a joke, right?!?!?

This can't be true, man... Sorry, at the moment I dont find any words for that... I could throw curses in every language in the air, but that won't describe the feeling I have right now... :angry:angry:angry

I'm going to try and get one on the 1st. However, if I can't I've got my PP ready for those kind enough to sell one at cost. For those outside the US, I feel for ya.

Ghostbusters™ Fans,

Ever since SDCC, we’ve all been waiting for this day to come and it’s finally almost here: on December 1st at 9 AM PT/Noon ET, you’ll have your chance at our movie prop replica PKE Meter! We’re holding this special sale so you, the loyal fans of this iconic film, can enjoy a day in the MattyCollector.com online store where it’s the only new product to go on sale.

So the PKE's go on sale at exactly what time and date? :wacko

I'm also gutted that they won't ship to the UK. If anyone is kind enough to get extras and sell them at cost, I'd love one.

I spoke to three separate people at Comic-Con, and not the poor bastards pulling booth duty, some of the folks in charge.

One thought it would be tough. But two others said there shouldn't be "quantity issue". Access was another story. Out of his hands.

They seem to be aware of a spike in normal GB figure sales, due to the costuming aspect of it.

But it was probably just BS.

Being in the UK, I too would appreciate it if anybody manages to snag an extra one they could sell me (at cost plus a handling fee for the hassle)

Thanks
