Obi Wan TPM Saber - Advice Needed!

Hello everyone! I am curious about the current Obi Wan TPM that Parks offers. I am aware of the issues with Parks in the past but I am just curious if anyone has his most recent version of this saber, I am interesting in getting one was the Obi TPM is by far my favorite prequel saber and I have never owned one. My question is, what is the level of accuracy as far as size and overall appearance? I know it isn't 100% but if it is reasonably accurate I may get one. I have no interest in the electronics version, just the hilt only one which I assume is identical minus the electronics. I don't know all of the details about the saber but as far as I know this is currently the only version available. I know the older versions had hex screws but the newer one appears to have the LED bezels and I know he has updated his designs over the years to improve accuracy. Any pieces I need to be aware of as far as replacing? (ie the Red button, covertech knob, leds, etc) I guess overall would you consider the saber reasonably accurate? What are the biggest flaws it has?

Thanks for the response! I have seen the EFX saber but the other ones that I have seen in person (The Luke ROTJ) lack the fit and finish I would prefer. I am keeping an eye out on the classifieds and auction sites. I am trying to gather info right now as it may be a few months before I am ready to purchase since I am already in on a couple of current project runs. I will definitely consider posting a WTB once I decide on what I am looking for! I am doing some research from the old threads here but I haven't any recent threads on this saber, particularly more recent runs such as the newer parks.

I have one from years ago, and older one with the Allen head screws. I updated myself to LEDs.

Accuracy wise I'm sure it's close but not as close as the Efx or the runs here on the RPF but close enough.

It is well made and instantly recognizable as the TMP Kenobi saber.

The Parks is the one on top with the blade. Mine is a lighted version, so the grip section is not accurate due to the electronics being stuffed in there.

The bottom one is a crazy accurate version from a private run.

Good to know! I would of course jump on a run if one happens here over buying the parks, just weighing the options! I am new posting here but I have researched Star Wars props in the past and I certainly enjoying reading about and seeing everything here! I had a few of the MR sabers a while back but never got the Obi Wan TPM and sold the others for wanting something more accurate. The Obi Wan TPM and AOTC sabers have always been pricey and now the MR pieces are just insane.

EDIT: Awesome pic, thanks for that! I noticed the current pictures on the PS website seem like the grip design has been changed to be more accurate than the older ones I have seen. I may just adopt a wait and see approach and if nothing else comes up by the time I don't want to wait longer I will get the parks and throw a different valve/button on it. Reading the older threads on the Obi Wan TPM Sabers have made me realize that there are little variations between just about every version made. The biggest thing is that I haven't seen any recent Parks comparisons, only the older version.

Yeah, I got mine back in 2004/2005, the blade is EL before he went to LED sabers.

I'm sure the new version and s much more accurate than mine.

I believe it! I'm not optimistic that it's something I'll ever be able to pick up in the Junkyard. Maybe through some miracle of the Force he'll do another run one day. :angel

You and me both are hoping for that!
