Obi wan episode 1 lightsaber

Recently purchased a Obi Episode 1 lightsaber. Should the pommel cubes have holes through them or partway?

Yes. All the way through for Episode 1

This came from CC sabers... Not 100 percent accurate but i like it. The red button bugs me a bit. Sits up high. This is the button that activates the switch. Is there a lower profile button i could get? The button just screws into the saber
