HEAVY SPOILERS!!!!!! PLEASE DON'T READ WITHOUT HAVING SEEN NO WAY HOME.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED(respectfully)

So as you know the GOAT himself retuned in NWH after 14 long years, proving that regardless of age, Tobey still kicks ass as Spider-Man. We all know that his appearance was slightly different than what we're used to seeing. Specifically the mask:

For alot of people, the mask looking different was extremely jarring. It's that extra webline that either makes or breaks the look for a lot of people. When I first saw it, I genuinely hated it. But it has since grown on me that the lenses took inspiration from my all time favorite Spidey movie suit:

Despite being a tad thinner, the NWH suit obviously took inspiration from the 2002 suit mask, which make me like it a hell of alot more. So since not alot of people have(or want to) tackle it, I figured why not?

I first off wanna think everyone involved in helping me with this project. I have some super talented people helping me bring this suit to life.

First off: the suit pattern. Real heroes design put a lot of love and attention into the pattern, closely inspecting each detail of the new suit, down to the mask web pattern.

He was kind enough to make me a variant without the front emblem, which as we speak a buddy of mine, who wishes not to be named at this time, is casting an emblem for me at the time of writing.

I have ordered the suit to be printed on colored fabrics. Red on Red, but blue on white fabric (I did this same method on my unfinished sm2 cosplay suit). I've also instructed Printcostume to add the back spider as top stitched to preserve the brick pattern

The logo does look a tad large, and I probably should have gotten it on red and blue fabrics respectively, but I'm pretty happy overall.

Now, we know that the webs were screen-printed on the suit instead of hand-applied urethane like the original trilogy suits were, hence why the webs do appear flatter than usual. To achieve this, a friend of mine who goes by @yeet_urself_off_a_cliff_ on Instagram is using @KAcosplaytech crazy Raimi suit webbing method.

He achieved this look by puff painting the entire suit with a black base, and then tracing each webline with a metallic sharpie marker. The result is phenomenal, especially for puff paint. And so far yeet_urself_off_a_cliff is doing an awesome job painting the suit so far

Next part is getting a shell that resembles the shape of the movie lenses. Since we've established that the lenses are different than the 04/07 shells and lenses, that completely takes those shells out of the equation. The best thing to use is a 2002 inspired shell. This was hard to find but since more and people have (finally) noticed the suit differences, renewed interest as bought a couple of people to tackle that special shell design. The best one IMHO is made by @L0LU24(all Instagram tags). He did an outstanding job in capturing the small details that made the shell distinct from the other later used shells.

@port_props is printing and assembling the shell for me. He's also one of the very few shell makers that has exclusive rights to sell finished versions of the shell.

Once it's in my hands I'll go into depth.
