So, all ya need is a Maverick NERF pistol, and some PVC pipe caps, sizes 1.5 and 2 inches. The BSG auction is so awosme....

Ya, it was more of "let me go find some pics." :lol I deffintly found it odd they listed the peices used as well. As soon as I read that though I knew exactly what it was, enspecialy considering I've taken that Nerf gun apart. Part of it is in a box labeled Drum Shotgun, and the drum itself is in a bag with the springs and stuff. :lol So I need to get some PVC and some paint now.

I hope they list all the recipes for their props. :thumbsup

EDIT - Home Part 1 I think it was. The Cylons lay the mines, and when the Colonials walk into them, Elosha the preistess is killed.

EDIT 2 - You know, thinking about it, I wonder what happened to the Maverick bodies themselves? Mabey they went to another show's prop dept. or something.

Interesting; are those paint can lids on yours? I've been having trouble finding the correct PVC caps, but htose are a pretty good match.

The top is a 1 1/2 inch PVC cap but all the 2 inch caps i found had really rounded bottoms so i just used a spray paint lid for the bottom. And to be honest i didn't glue the bottom on in case i find something better.

Here is my first pull , done in smooth-on roto cast and filled with foam it 10. Nice and light weight.

Just seems the top is a bit off- beveled top instead of smooth curve.

Yes i agree , i looked and looked for that type of pvc cap and this one was the flatest one i could find, the 2 inch caps on the bottom were like balloons so i used a spray can cap.

I love it. A great find, and a easy item to make since I have about 2-3 of those Nerf guns around. Plenty of spray paint cans also. It should be easy to collect up, and trim those parts out. :cool

and Nibco 1 1/2 inch 5817. Could not find these on the nibco company site. Probably the production just picked up what they could find at a Home Depot or what not.

Cool that is great info to have. I looked at 3 Home Depots , a Lowes, and 3 independent hardware stores with no luck. Now I know the maker and the numbers maybe I can track some down.

Yeah we bought the same 1 1/2 inch PVC top from Home Depot, what is the bottom piece you used?
