its very easy actualy.
Hobby craft stores like Michaels sale clock set ups or you could just as wekk visit a dime store and pick up the same thing already installed in a clock and remove it. Normaly they are a generic clock mechanism that runs off a AA battery. Even look at thrift stores, swap meets, the trash...
