not a replica, not sure what to call this: BTVS

Hi! I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

My question is about a BTVS item.

I was watching the Restless Episode (season four finale) and I noticed some pastel bunnies in the ice cream truck. So I zoomed in on them and saw them closer.

It turns out I have some. They were an Easter Toy that was sold in the late 90's Early 2000's. I thought it was funny that there were Bunnies in the Ice Cream Truck since the character of Anya is so scared of bunnies in the show.

I'm not sure of what to call them. They're not screen used. They're not Prop Replicas as they weren't made to copy the bunnies. The bunnies are just the same vintage, color, etc as the ones shown in the episode. The BTVS prop folks prob. went out an bought 'em the same time I did way back when.

What do you call something like this? When it's not screen used or a replica, but is the same type of item as used in a film or tv show?

Any help is sincerely appreciated.

thanks for this forum,

Amy

What if the set decoration was a propellor and a actor never touches it...Is it still a prop?

Wow...that's kind of like the whole tree falling in the forest thing. Man I'm profound. I should start a cult. :lol

That's a pretty cool find though. I've noticed a few things that I had or have that have been used as set dressing. Makes me feel all hollywoody inside:)

LOL! I own one of the shirts that Xander is wearing... An early 1980s Baskin Robbins Uniform shirt. Fun job throughout high school. Had to leave it to work in a theater premiering Return of the Jedi.
