Noob 1time pepakura (Ironman)

Hi folkes been hiding in the shadows for a while no gathering info and getting a rough idea on how to build items/costumes
and i must say glad ive become a member because there is some serious talent on this site so hats off to you all :thumbsup

Ive recently decided to start a Pepakura Ironman mk3 helmet project and im hoping to either get it to a show piece or even better wearable but only time will tell, Sorry if my first post is in the wrong place but wanted to say hi and show you the start to my cherry being popped.

Not sure who's file this was but if you recognise it then hats off to you its awesome and i will alway take note to the work gone into these files in the future and give recognition

Well here's a few photo's of my first attempt and please be as brutaly honest with your comments as you can as i dont take offence easy at all
The pep is about 95% done but a few pointers i need really, Lining up the faceplate do i trim it to make it fit flush ?, The helmet as a whole seams to have distorted so is it an idea to brace it as i resin it ?

Thanks must say I've had quite a lot of fun doing it and tbh it's not as hard as I thought it would be so this I think will be a long turm project and going to start a predator bio helm for my brothers b/day coz he's a huge predator fan

I think you got the very old and low poly mk3 helm try the sharkmark version. The one without the inside brace in ear part.

Well slow progress but managed to get all the pep done this weekend and semi tack the faceplate on with spots of glue to hold
it in shape for when i cover it in resin

Hard to get things done when ive got my 10 month old girl crawling arround lol
Not sure if im missing somthing but isnt the mk3 helmet ment to have a flap on the top vent ??

Bit of a Noob thing to do but after id printed all the pep i deleted the files to make space on my laptop
so im unsure who's files they were and its been a pain is ive had no file to refrence back to but suppose
we all learn from our mistakes lol

Well moving along slowly but managed first coat of resin in my dinner time at work today

Wondering if somone can point me in the right direction too wanting to start a build
on a Aliens M14a pulse rifle but im unsure how to strengthen it as glassing it on the
inside cant be done with it being sealed, so how do i make it solid enough without
losing all the detail ?
