Non-studio scale Death Star source

Gotta love the maturity.

I assume you're considering the 30" sphere to get the max size. Would have to trim around the equator to get the oblong look. I just wonder how well it would do under its own weight as the spheres look like they have thick walls.

because it's not clear...............you're gonna be drillin fiberoptics holes for eternity!!! I'd hold out for a clear one. This way you paint the thing, then take a dremel and tiny round bit and "zip" a window in a fraction of a second, then it only takes one light source in the center to "wire this baby up"

JD, yes, I've looked at Global... My biggest concern is shipping. I'm on the other side of the nation, and bet shipping is near $100. I have a local supplier that - while about $100 more per dome - I can pick up in person...

But if the shipping is $100 and your local person charges $100 more wouldn't that work out to be the same amount?

Logic Logic Logic... Dontcha just hate it...

But honestly I'd pay an extra 100 NOT to have to run a couple of thousand fiber optics to light the sucker... Tme is money... and I know it would take me more then a couple of hours to run that many fibers...

What is the wall thickness on yours? I think this requires 1/4" right?

And hey - hate to ask you to do my "leg work" but do you have contact info for them? I tried quickly on the net but couldn't them.
