BTW, I think a bottle very similar to the blue Blue Sun bottle shows up in the bar scene in The Train Job.

Alrighty... I put a couple pictures online of the little bit of the verse I've got:

That box is going to be like the Blue Sun cigar case that someone one here had... but I want to try a different route than the decals.

Is it someone on here that makes the Fruity Oaty bars?
Picked one up off ebay - looks great. Had to stop my two year-old from unwrapping it in a hurry.

I was thinking of making a Fruity Oaty Bar. That one you got off ebay was made by Charles Walker AKA EDC Studios...he's scum. He recently changed his ebay name to charleswalkerdesigns. I wish more people knew about him then unsuspecting people wouldn't buy his stuff and supporting him.

Unfortunately there wasn't any shots of a package in the commercial so it'd have to be a non-canon bar wrapper...they only show an unwrapped rainbow looking bar in the commercial. But I agree, the more we put stuff out the less people EDC gets money from...that's in part why I did both the at cost Serenity bills and IDs...strangely he dropped his price for his IDs to the same as what I was charging for mine at cost (of course he has the set up and such to make such things for MUCH less). We need to spread the word about him in the Firefly/Serenity community, he seems to be really focusing on them recently.

I also am hoping to do an at cost run of series bills on vellum...sometime. LOL

Ooo — bills... Do you plan to wait for the series companions to come out? I'm hoping they'll show the bills like the movie one did... Volume 1

Mike, I do intend to wait till the companion comes out, I also have another possible option if the bills aren't in the books. I like the at cost projects because it keeps people like EDC from making too much off of fans...the vellum will be more expensive though I think.

I've been meaning to get back to you about the coins. I have most of those coins so it's good to have the info about them, I should take some photos of the coins so people can have a better view of them.

The FOB with a similar look/style to the commercial graphics is a good idea. If you want any help let me know.

Keep talking guys, this sounds like a fun project. I need to get me some of those coins too... for now I'm working on my Blue Sun cigar box (I think it was bizaro in here I got the idea from).

Yup, that was one I did, I can cut you a vinyl stencil for the box if you want to try and paint a label.

I've actualy made a Blue Sun label based off an existing cigar box label I found on the web, as well as an import stamp and a seal like most cigar boxes have... 'cept for the Alliance. I planned on just printing that and sticking that to the box like a few real life brands I've come across. If ya'll want to see it I can upload a preview... if not I won't bother and just get the pics online whenever I finish it weathering it all.

Also, can you cut a smaller Blue Sun logo out of semi-transparent or frosted looking vinyl? Like, 1 1/4" sqaure or so? I've got som shotglasses I wanted to purdy up.

Okay, I'm going to start drawing up a Fruity Oaty Bar wrapper.

Tried looking through my fonts for a close one for the text — no dice. Probably tweaked anyway; some of the letters have odd ligatures.

Further bulletins as events warrant.
