Anyway, personally I find the Craig-Bond movies to be forgettable. Literally, forgettable, as in starting to watch a movie when I have nothing better to do and then after ten minutes thinking "Oh, haven't I seen this one already?".

Cool beans man. Also Sources have a list of Bond girls they are looking at for the new movie. Marion cotillard ( good choice) Katy perry ( wtf) and of course Rachel Weisz ( my pick and his wife).
not much on villains yet. Dwight from the office has said he wants to do it.

everyone always nails him with that line. Yet it was after his accident and he was pretty beat up. Plus he was doing his own stunts n crap. Rachel was all over him for doing the stunts himself. Money wasn't the issue to him. It is more of respect to the wife by not really wanting to do it for health reasons. For him to say yes to this film it has to be cause she ok'ed it and he will use a stunt double finally. Who knows, maybe he / studio said she can finally be a Bond girl to sweeten the deal.

I really enjoyed the new take on Bond with Craig breaking the mold. But it seems his heart isn't in it anymore and that was obvious in Spectre. I was looking forward to someone else like Idris Elba or Michael Fassbender to tackle 007.

Spectre was such a terrible movie. Written poorly and misused almost every thing the other movies produced. Waste of a talent and the story line. I can't blame Craig for reading that script and be like "ugh..I'm calling this in and not doing anymore of these"
idris Elba will likely never get the role. He has a history of being a dick and cries about most films he does. He has talent, yet too much baggage for some people to deal with. He needs to learn to shut his mouth and do his job. Maybe then he will get more respect in the studios eyes and a shot at something game changer. Micheal Fassbender would be great choice.

I liked Casino Royale, but nothing after. Here is why his movies suffer:
* Craig looks Russian, not British. He'd be better cast as a Bond villain's henchman.
* He's too short, by several inches. All the other Bonds were around 6'2".
* Traditional Bond music is not used throughout the films. We hear it at the opening scene, and then when the end credits roll. Disgraceful. May as well be a Bourne movie.
* Being a cold killer is nice, but the character needs charm to balance it out. Craig couldn't charm his way out of a paper bag. The man has zero charisma. I don't care about him.

Age starts to be a factor. 00s are supposed to retire at 45 in the books as I understand it, IF they survive to that age.
Movies are different of course and many things get changed. I guess I should be all for older guys being action heroes and sex symbols. ha ha.

Casino Royale might be my favorite Bond film ever and Skyfall is definitely in my Top 5, but QoS was awful and SPECTRE was a huge disappointment. After the way he was sleepwalking through that film I was kinda hoping he would exit the role and let someone else take it over. I thought Tom Hiddleston would be a great choice after seeing how good he was in The Night Manager. :cool
