Are you Sure??? In the previews I saw it looked like a propane powered airgun that shot some kind large projectile.....a homemade job all the way

SAI makes 12 gauge suppressors. They do exist. Attach with an allen screw. As to how functional they'd be, can't say...

Read the book (although bad). It, indeed, includes a silenced shotgun as well as the air-driven bolt thingie. Both very silly.

That "silenced" shotgun is a joke. The diameter of the opening is a little small, no?

If you are shooting slugs and the round is subsonic it should work. With buck shot I highly doubt it.
