Nissan Rogue One Death Trooper Helmet Limited Edition

Obviously a mistake for them to say that.

Also I love the big deal they try to make of the Star Wars version: White paint OR black paint! A "Star Wars" bumper sticker! Special floor mats and plaques glued to the doors!
Only a few thousand more and all your friends will be jealous of your unmistakable Star Wars themed car.

I wonder who's making the helmet.

I noticed it has the laser sight or whatever by the left eye and Anovos' doesn't - or at least didn't on the preview page.

I'm not paying 25k for a helmet though :) I imagine they'll be ebayed at some point.

I read before that Gentle Giant was the one making the helmet.

That's a "Spectra Sensor", according to this (source):

It's just an attachment for the helmet, and there are some that don't have it:

I've just watched the most ridiculous and self-indulgent sales pitch for a car that I have ever seen. They should go the way of Prop Shop.

No kidding, Corporate Hype Man level Supreme. One of the biggest movie tie-in stretches ever. Thought the commercial was ok. This not so much.
Whoever sees this being driven around in real life, please post up pic. Need a good chuckle.

Several people on facebook who were at the event stated that the helmet is not wearable. This to me is not a surprise, as it's been reported they are being produced by Gentle Giants

Pathetic. :lol

I dont know know who thought this was a good idea.

In the video you can see that the bottom is filled in.

This 'Launch' is at the LA auto show right now. They have a fan made 'life sized' tie fighter studio scale Xwing, Y Wing and an AT-AT under glass. They also had some production shore trooper costumes and I think they are rebel costumes. A note about the armour on the costumes, It appeared to be fiberglass...thick fiberglass. Unlike traditional Trooper armour that is vacuformed.

I bought a new Rogue today. No, I didn't get the Star Wars edition. As much as I love SW, I'd never drive around with it permanently plastered all over my $30,000 car.

There are also 2 small rebel and imperial symbols on the back near the bumper and a plaque with the Rogue One logo somewhere.

Not entirely sure where all the hate is coming from.
