Nintendo NES Gold Cartridge

How do you guys would approach it? How it was made?

I can spray paint gold on gray cartridge but yah not the same.

I could cast goldish resin.

How do you think it was made?

It's vacuum metallized.

You could probably get close with some kind of spray chrome and a tinted clear coat to make it "gold" but, I'm not sure any of it will look as good as the real thing.

You can have stuff metallized. It probably wont be cheap though.
