So I went to pick up my bottles from the NIKE event theater and I go into the backroom and there I see several (7-10) large boxes (3 feet by 3 feet) FILLED with the shoes!

They were just tossed in there.

And next to those boxes were black NIKE boxes with the word REJECTED on them. So I am assuming that ALL of the shoes that were in the smoke filled glass case (which were about 200-300) were ALL rejected shoes!!!

I picked one of them up and held it. They are BEAUTIFUL! Even if these were rejected shoes.

You guys don't know how hard it was NOT to just take a few and RUN! :lol......:cry

If they were rejected why didn't you ask how you could go about scoring them? I would have told them that you have friends that can fix them.

But I guess that would have thrown the 1500# off a bit. They still could have made awesome house slippers.

But I still would have asked.

I wonder what the average is going to be towards the end??
I would go up to $2,000 for a pair (size 8 or 9).
Looks like those sizes are averaging about 3 to 4k right now so maybe they will go down in price?? Prob not...again, me hoping against impossible odds.

These are going for much lower than I suspected. I guy I met "in the industry" at the event guessed that If any of these shoes re-sell they will probably go or lower than they were originally bought for. The charity of course inflates the prices. I'm not sure I agree with him but I hope he is right.

Toward the end, you'll see a rise in hammer prices again. The lowest average price will probably be around day 7 or 8.

Because I already knew the answer. They were being shipped back to Portland. Just before I left they were starting to rebox them up and they had a few lists. Not sure if the lists were for the shoes but I figured they were.

They mention select Nike stores and no definite list has been given. I wonder if it is just LA Nike stores or other US Nike stores as well.

Thanks, Vivek! It's a shame, really. The only other option really is eBay. I bookmarked an auction for one of the ceramic shoes and it was listed at about $88 dollars, then when I woke up the next day it was up to almost $500... Just crazy!

I don't know why you guys want these ceramic shoes. I held one and they are just like a large Christmans Ornament with not very good paint.

These will be on Ebay for $50 soon enough for those who want them. The high prices for them are just because of the hype.

I like collecting figures and statues, but the not good paint worries me. From the pics they looked pretty good.

The eventual low price on eBay maybe right, but still can't guarantee if they will be remain open ended auctions without BIN.

I won't get to buy the Nike Mag shoes for another 4 years for sure. So these will have to do for now

1 listing has crossed 10k, 5 others have crossed 5k and the rest are all in the range of 3k to 4k.

One thing I noticed about last night was that some of the auctions didn't hike up within 30 minutes of auctions end.

When I say that the auctions didn't go from $5000 to $7685.

See which bids come up the most when they are done.

easy jimmy let a few days go by.Looks like alot of pairs are coming down in price were pretty much topping out at 4 grand.Maybe in a few days it will be closer to 3.
