Guys, I would like to just say something with regards to whatever will be announced, vis-a-vis the price expectancy.
If you can afford them, that's excellent, and may you enjoy them for eons when you get them. If what we saw is what we expect, they are going to be one helluva an item.
If they are beyond your price range, don't let it bother you. They may not be self-lacing or whatever kind of exotic coffee the Nike ones may be announced to be able to perculate, but just don't forget that we have our very own markpoon who makes an EXCELLENT pair of these, and others like Pitbull (or yourself) who can do a jaw-dropping light convertion / addition job on them.
It is vital in cases like these to keep in mind that there exisits a very, very, very respectable alternative for middle-range budget collectors![]()
Be happy with what you can afford without donating a lung, and you'll sleep better while enjoying the hobby to the full:thumbsup
Not quite. The Nike 'arrow' logo is not in the same position as the screen ones. In these ones coming out now, the 'tail' goes all the way to back.

I'm sure there are 1 or 2 more inaccurate tidbits, here and there, but the people buying these, most NOT prop enthusiasts, won't care. After all, they flocked, last year, to buy-out the Nike Hyperdunks, which hardly look much like the BTTF Mags. Imagine the crowds coming after these replicas. Doubt the longer arrow logo will turn them away.
I feel bad seeing all the anger / negativity over this event. I would like to re-post what I said earlier :

Yes, the new Nikes are cool, but the above comparison pics are rather self-explanatory I think.
Chins up :thumbsup
Perhaps, but Mr. Poon doesn't make them in different sizes...

People get you. This is about HYPE. This is the BIGGEST news for the prop world since the Matty Collector Ghost-trap, and for BTTF fans since Doc Brown TV add in Argentina, which was last week. The lack of official Air Mag info is making the prop-fans starve for more info; therefore, making them want them more. Simple Supply and demand principle over shiny overly hyped, limited objects which they want but MIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiight not have...or could they?
Remember the anticipation over The Phantom Menace? People searching the web for spoilers, spy set pics, latest news, rumors, lining-up for months for tickets, etc? Same thing here. Nobody is under appreciating Mark Poon. He is just not made of hype at every geek blog, right now.
.......After these shoes are released, will BTTF fans still care about the Hyperdunks and their close-enough resemblance to the Air Mags?
