Thank GOD I have a pair of MP2015s. Now I just need to figure out the self lacing.

Dunno why a lot of people are hung-up on power laces. I'm just glad they are dead-on, wearable and with all the working lights. They could have cut so many corners, but it all seems to be in place.

Most importantly: Will they make them in different sizes, or are we doomed to one size-fits all...all who fit that one size, that is.

Not quite. The Nike 'arrow' logo is not in the same position as the screen ones. In these ones coming out now, the 'tail' goes all the way to back.

Yeah my wife got excited about the possibility of a pair that fit her (she does Marty costuming), but the idea of that went right out the window with the limited 1,500 pairs.

Of course maybe we will see more since according to a guy I am arguing with on another forum Nike would have no problem selling 800,000 pairs of these at $600 a piece. That would have to be the most successful sales for a (relatively accurate) replica prop ever by several factors of magnitude.

I couldnt care a hoot about the laces, just to have an official accurate pair, but it looks like that has gone down the pan.
They are superb though, but i may now have to bag another pair of m2015's now, wouldnt mind trying to grey them out some so they are not so silvery, still love the markpoons regardless.

1,500 pairs is an insult to fans worldwide.
How many times has Nike been contacted over the years regarding these shoes?
It just grinds my gears that a wider release will not be available.

How could one of the most amazing announcements for BTTF fans also be the most discouraging?
If these were mass-produced, I know for sure I'd buy two pairs - one for display and one for wearing. But they would have to have a reasonable price tag.
