This is the angelus acrylic with some hardener. Not sure how hard wearing it is underneath the sole (probably nothing much will be), but its probably great for the sides and the main bits that are seen.

Does it easily chip or is it rock solid when dry?
 
Ok so I just received my laser printer today, Brother hl-2270dw

I'm using a file called strap_final.psd that someone posted in earlier posts.

My question is what are the settings to print so that it doesn't come out so big! :)

I saved this as a JPEG and I just opened it in Paint with the measurements and it is huge. I'd have re-scale it to print it.
 
Just had a play and it looks like you will have to print the NIKE logo at 50% of the original file size. It does seem to take on a bit of the jaggies after scaling the size. The other thing you might want to do is make up your own starting with IMPACT and then modding the font.

It's funny because an earlier posts I read that Jedifyfe didn't like the black shoes then later on he got them. I'm tempted now myself.

but i just mask the hole shoe and air brushed not happy with the final i lampt it and found flaws so its perfect now :D
and im doing the swoosh in yellow EL i might have to use 2 inverters and 9 volt ill time the result of lasting power i do wear these shoes and im the only one in pittsburgh with mags it seems LMAO IMG_0678.jpgIMG_0681.jpgIMG_0661.jpg

use this for the templet for nike strap and use clear labeling i modified this one so there is more black and i use hole sheets you can buy them at staples but you have to run them like 3 times to block light i spend alot of time on these and i over lap them to block out light but its your choice:D
 
WOW that looks hot! Even if it didn't have the yellow FOOTWEAR, it is an awesome colorway for these shoes.

I know splatter is "screen accurate", but I actually like the clean look better. Same when you repainted the grey on your grey/white pair. It just looks nice and clean.
 
Thank you bro. Do you lay another clear label over the finish product to avoid scratching the toner? I had that experience where I accidentally scratched the toner from the laser printer and it scratched off.
