Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Alrighty then. My V3 order has just updated to "Shipped" !
took them a week to 'process' the order. Build as they go?
The waiting game gets even more intense.....
meh, i've been waiting since 1990 (like most of you, lol)

Err, okay you guys, I need your advice again, they sent us pictures of the new pair... No glue spots, the nike swoosh looks alright, but looks like there's an even bigger problem now, they seem to have not glued the cup straight so the strap is weird... What do you think?

In the first picture. The inner tips of the heel cups are misaligned. The left one is a bit higher in relation to the midsole.

The left swoosh still looks misaligned just a little low.

Hey guys, my order has been shipped. I ordered early Tuesday morning. They said that they would get me tracking within 48 hours. I didnt ask for QC pictures, but I did ask for a pair with minor blemishes and functioning electronics so here's hoping for the best!

Over all these look good, but there are a few things not quite right with these. You have to remember there is no velcro on the collar under the strap like the V2s, so the strap can move up or down, but looking again, yes one buckle is not quite straight. Also I have noticed a few of these shoes have creases in the ankle buckles. Not sure what is going on there, but they certainly should not be there.

The only thing that really jumps out to me, but may not be of concern is that small lump on the side of the left shoe toe box. Otherwise these looks pretty good.
Is it me, or are the laces on one shoe not straight?

Those not straight laces are because someone pulled the tongue up too much - the V2s do that too. Note one tongue is up a lot more than the other, and not evenly.

Should I ask for another pair then? It will be the second time we ask for one...

That is up to you Emma. These shoes are not exactly cheap, so I think you do have the right to be a little fussy here.

Rather than ask for a complete new pair, just question them on the buckle because overall, these look good and you don't want to go backward from here.

well, think of it this way, when you go to a shop even to buy fruit or vegetables, you pick the ones you like the look of, and if you don't like, you don't buy. Same thing. You'd want to be happy with it at the high price point they are putting these at. I mean, I was a bit disappointed the last V2s I got had a very boot-like toe, when the originals were not anywhere near as big in the toebox. But you can get 3 pairs of V2s for one of the V3's, so....... I'd be asking for another. They can only say 'no, pick one of the two we already showed you' right?
Edit - actually Cavx's idea seems good. Couldn't hurt to ask.

EmmaInCandyland I think these look OK, but you are well within your rights to ask about the points you have raised, or request another pair as they have made this part of their service by providing QC pics before shipping. Saying that, my pair and all the other pairs I have seen all have some kind of defect, even if very small and I think there probably will be on every pair that is made (even if it's only small glue seepage), even some of the RD shoes may have some tiny flaws so I've heard.

They actually sent me the photos of the first pair you rejected as I'm buying a 7 too. I've rejected those also. I can guarantee that I will now be offered this pair if you reject these also. Something to look out for guys.

If they weren't $600, I would have to joke about one man's trash is another man's treasure. But $600 for shoes is not exactly pocket change. Now once NickyMabbs rejects them, they should be placed in a 2nds pile and reduce the price. That way they can still sell them.

We all know they'll just go to normal Joes who can't tell a V2 from an RD.

Yeah ain't that the truth. I'm in the middle of selling my V2s and 99% of the messages I get are asking if they are genuine authentic. If they don't sell then I might just have to sell them on the junkyard here with the full EL kit included. That is, if anyone on here would want them.

I had people at NYCC think my HCs were real. Persnickety nerds clearly aren't the target demographic for knockoff artists. Haha

I had an issue with the letter A in MAG and requested a new pair - of course all they did was repair the flaw in the same shoe but I'm happy with them otherwise so I gave them the green light to ship.

im jealous of how Ivey your sole is! Mine looks like it was pre-yellowed :(. But let me not get ahead of myself mine are in customs right now so I hope I even get them at all!

I don't think its glue mine have the same flaw but not as noticeable. Its like a crack in the casting nothing that made me upset. yours look good. But try and zoom in on the upper part of where the button is. Look for the smallest dots. I had a real small pin hole tear in mine. I got a discount on a second pair because of this. Just look for the little things. Also as the others were saying the laces are never going to be perfect. everyone has as them slightly off...

Did you take any close up pics of the flaw in your strap buckle?
When I asked Rebecca if it was glue, she said "it is normal for a bit of glue"
She said it would take 3-5 working days for a new one or I could get $20 off on another pair.
I won't be getting another pair (if I do) for a while. I asked if a $20 refund was possible, at all, or if the glue could just be taken off
If I ask for a replacement I risk them messing something else up and this seams to be the only real problem with mine.
