Was thinking about trying sole savers on my V3s, anybody have any experience with sole savers? Do you think they are worth the effort?
I love MAGs. I am However not a sneaker head by any means. I just Googled saving soles and they came up.

There are lots of products out there that protect soles. Which specifically?
Don't know exactly. That's kinda what I'm asking. Guess I could have been a little more specific. What are good products? Which ones should I stay away from?
I usually buy shoes, wear them, throw them out when they wear out. I've never tried to "save" shoes or soles before.

I looked into it a little for my Star-Lord shoes. Because Skecher soles wear kind of fast. The protectors are about $20 and the shoes are $40, so I bought several pair of shoes instead.
Anyways, the two biggest seem to be "Sole Protectors" and "Sole Savers". Both are sheets that mold to the bottom of the shoe. So you could look into those two products.

Thanks. I hope those batteries are safe. Li-ions I'm not worried about. It's the LiPos that scare me.

When mine were flagged by customs last year they wrote to me to notify that I was attempting to import counterfeit goods. I protested and said that I didn't know they were counterfeit and demanded they release them hoping that they wouldn't know about the whole replica Mag movement. A few days later I received a mail from Nike Legal stating.......
"Your items have been examined by a Nike representative expertly trained in identifying counterfeit items.
These items have been deemed counterfeit. Among the indicators are the product code on the label does not match any genuine Nike item. This has been determined, among other factors, using a global product database system. This may be used as evidence in any legal proceedings should you dispute this. If you wish to proceed with the objection in this matter Nike reserves the right to take legal action against you.
If you have bought these items believing them to be genuine we would strongly recommend you take a copy of this email and the letter sent to you by Irish customs to your bank and speak with the fraud department. They may be able to assist you in getting your money back as potential victim of fraud.
Please confirm whether you elect to withdraw your objection. If we do not receive a response to this email within 48 hours, we will presume that you have abandoned your objection that the item is counterfeit.

Interesting. Did they mention how much traction there is on smooth or wet surfaces?
They did say it was slick for the first few minutes, I'd guess until the vinyl scratched up just a bit.
They used a heat gun to form the vinyl to the bottom of the shoe, so technically I guess there still are peaks and valleys that still grip with the Mag's.
They are saying a dollar or two per pair of sole covers using this method. I'm thinking about trying it. Unlike some, I cannot buy 4 plus pairs to keep around. I love the ones I have bit I'm sure this will be the only pair or there might be another pair in the distant future if they are still available.

Question for other owners of the v3..... when i am charging the shoes there are NO 4 red light burning....
Should they be burning or not??

I'll have to look into it then. I got other shoes I'd like to try this with. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that fit well, so I want to keep what I can in good shape.

Hopefully it is nothing.
In the past, Australian Customs have held packages of mine for up to 4 days to make me sweat it out. They have never ceased an item yet. *touches wood.

That flyer is for the 2011 MAGs. These are just a well made copy of them, so you except everything.

If push comes to shove and these wear down too fast, the pyramid tread is easy to reproduce. I am thinking of making a generic shoe sole of the stuff for my Esty store anyway.

Oh, I don't have any V3 to wear down. I might try it on some other footwear and see how it does.
