The grey and white options on that page are both the same, I confirmed this with her a while back. As long as you're not on the black Mags page, you're good.

My only problem with Karin's shop is that she charges 126USD for shipping to Europe while others have an option to ship free. Curious if any one had good experiences with some of the other vendors, like Guangzhou Yingteng who offer free shipping to Germany and has a good reputation there, too?

Got a question for everyone who is wearing their MAGs. How often do you wear them? In what situations? Are they getting messed up at all? Has anyone driven a car while wearing them?

I find I've hardly been able to wear mine. It's been only twice outside of DragonCon. In normal life, there seem to be limited "ideal" situations where I consider it worth the trouble/risk/preparation etc... Places like a party, or where you're going to be on foot around a lot of people for a long time, to get the most fun out of reactions. And of course it almost goes without saying, it has to be in the evening/night. It makes me a little sad because I want to wear them more often and enjoy them, but I don't want to do so in the "regular" routine of a trivial outing.

Also, if there is any remote possibility of an affordable mass release next year, the "exotic" factor might be gone after that. If tons of people have them, they're not "amazing" and rare anymore, unfortunately. So that puts a ticking clock to really enjoying our modded V2s.

I wore my v2s to a xmas party, it was around 6pm so I used the lights (unmodded) I drove in them for about 20 mins each way and sat in them for about 2 hrs, so all in all about 3 hrs. Other than that they get 10-15 mins every few weeks indoors at home. Been too muddy for anything besides my boots lol. Even with my MPs I'm the only one in my area with a version of the MAG, both MP and v2 which is awesome for me :lol plus being a huge BTTF lover (and RPF member!) gives me the advantage for having such props as 2015 Marty gear.

I drive in mine pretty much every time I wear them. Mine aren't modded yet, but do wear them out at different times when I can. I will wear them to work on a Saturday (because we can also jeans then too), I wore them on Date Night last night (dinner and the cinema - took my Wife to see ROBOCOP) and wore them out today for a 501st troop.

Generally speaking these are holding up well. Lights don't work any more. Sure the soles are yellowing, but we know that is inevitable now. The uppers are staying quite clean considering how much I do wear these. The elastic seems to be quite stretchy still (I was expecting that to fail quickly like it did on the V1s) and the hook and loop on the strap is still really good (again total crap on the V1s).These shoes seemed to have some sort of water resistant coating on them when I first got them, but now that seems to be gone.
The soles are lasting much longer than I thought they would. The rubber outers on the V1s wore smooth with in a few weeks. This pair is now 8 months for me and there is no sign of major wear. They did split a while back, but I just super glued them back together and they are holding up well.

I will use a damp cloth to wipe them down from time to time. Today was pretty dusty, so they will need a wipe down no doubt after today.

i always use 17track[Together Tracking], International Registered/Parcel/EMS/Express Tracking System << to track EMS / China post etc... as it seems to be the most reliable ( and doesn't need you to put in verification codes all the time!).... ive had tracking numbers take ages to work before though myself! im currently waiting for my V2 mags to arrive from Karin aswel, and slightly disappointed that it took a week before they even got sent!,.. i have a tracking number now but it isnt recognised as yet, i just keep checking back but i have had items turn up from china before that the tracking never updated! so i wouldnt overly worry until it gets into 2 weeks...

** Update,, just literally re-checked and got this update looks like they are on the way!
