Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Wow they look amazing! Who did you buy them from Karin Chen? I have just ordered a pair! Do they have Nike soles inside and labels?
 
Nice touch! Apart from the strip Nike logo not lighting up id say there bang on for $250 dollars! A pair went on eBay for over £1000!
 
Yeah def fakes like from Aliexpress! But nice profit as long as they let the person know there knock off replicas! I'd pay £500 for a pair just to finally own some!
 
Okay, so just picked up mine today & must say I'm pretty impressed. They're well put together although compared to the originals they're nowhere near in terms of quality.

The switch & charging USB has to be in one of THE most stupid places I have ever seen, I really don't understand why it wasn't located to the absolute rear of the shoe so it could fit comfortably under a cutout in the rear strap holder.

They're a tad wider than the originals, which coupled with the raised toe-box does give them a less attractive appearance but they're not unattractive at all.

You've got to be very careful not to let the velcro from the strap go anywhere near the tongue as it's the sort of material that will pull like mad.

Comfort wise, they're okay, I did a little light walking in them but I'm not completely sure how they would hold up to really rolling or bending your foot while walking.

I've attached one photo, I'm lucky in the fact that I'm very slightly over a US 7 which is the same size as MJF I'm led to believe, if his 'Nike Bruins' in Universal Studios office are actually screen used & being this size gives the shoes a really nice proportion of length to height.

Am I pleased with them? Yes. Could they be made better? Massively. If the factory take on board all of your great suggestions I could imagine they would be able to reproduce a VERY good likeness to the authentics, however I just hope it's in their interest.

I'm currently waiting for an Ebay seller to get back to me on a pair of size 7 originals & if they're genuine I will purchase them & let you all know how it goes.

So for now, here are mine...

Yes they seem pretty switched on with the strap now, the soles though I don't think they will do as when I asked they said "they have lights" I told them wrong type but I don't think it soaked into his head.. Getting that call was a moment I will never forget to be honest, they did say they would send me a gift as well for being helpful, but thats still to be seen..

Anyway while I wait on the second batch to turn into confetti here is my v2's now with el strap and sole's. soles are not finished its just for viewing purposes so you can see the potential, hope you like!

Awesome news! :)

I think you made a good choice as by the sounds of things the second batch will look identical but with a light up strap, I think you could make two sets of straps before we even see a photo of the next batch >.<

Hopefully we can work together in getting everything sorted, as at the moment i feel like a one man army ripping these up :(

If I decide to order a pair, I may just accidentally change the quantity to two and have a go myself. I have bad memories of sitting in my spare room for days on end doing the proper EL conversion on some poons but boy was it worth it in the end. :thumbsup

Cracking work lad, i'm really liking those black Mags.

Any1 interested in Marty Mcfly clothes? I was out the other week and managed to get my mitts on a red body warmer jeans and shirt pretty cheap! Their not movie accurate but try still look pretty cool. Il post pics.

Let me know ASAP as this stuff is in the shops as part of January sales so don't know how long it will be on the shelves.

If there is interest il go buy a load today and if it sells it sells if it doesn't it doesn't.

and i bet your gift will be 2 x el straps they have produced that you have already made ;)

on a good note mine were released from customs on monday but as of yet i have zero movement on getting to me - 2 weeks so far since they hit uk customs

disgusting service since parcelforce have taken over considering they were posted from china on the 25th and landed in the uk in 2 days later in holiday season
