Did you remove the toe cap? It doesn't look like a sock toe.

I posted both the steam method and showed parts of the sock toe method. Jedifyfe did the nip and tuck method.

Yes. You're right. It was a nip and tuck and removed the toe cap

Cool, a hybrid version :)

The true sock toe of the movie shoe uses all the fabric of the original boot toe, but because it has no support, it slumps.

So, is there anyway to make charging these things any easier? Without cutting the white ankle bubble, preferably

@Devilnash what did I tell you? You say refund, and David shows up. Like some sort of weird alternate Beatlejuice

Haha very true!! Extremely magical!

The charge ports on the V3s are tight, but if you bend the collar and insert the plug at an angle, it should just go straight in.

I can shoot a quick video later showing this.

I read a few pages back where it was asked if there is a way to cut the buckle to make inserting the charge port easier.
You don't have to cut anything.

I had to cut the fabric considerably as well as cut the insole.

so you cut directly the fabric to separate the uppers and reglue it onto the soles or unglued it and then trimed it and glued it back to the soles ?
there is a difference and the option of cutting directly along the soles edges saves time but i'm not sure of the result... I tried this on a HC pair, it ended up great but i didn't got rid of the foam inside and now it is hard foeme to put my feets in :/
anyway, i was going to trash these to use the soles for other tHing :)

i.ll post my pictures when back to canada and in my new appartment (there will be a lot of stuff to see about the modification of the HCs)
