Hey everyone...

For my very first show off thread, I thought I'd share my life size Nightmare Before Christmas "Bullet Hole Duck"

Here is a set of reference images...

Okay...be honest.

BWHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa.

I love it. :thumbsup That's a great idea and well executed.

Are the wheels the right shape? It's difficult to tell, but it looks like the screen caps show wheels with a sharp 90 degree edge from the side of the wheel to the contact surface while the wheels on your replica appear to be rounded.

Again, great job.

Yeah, the wheels themselves were just the craft store ready to go wooden wheels. They were the exact right size, so I made the sacrifice of them not being 100% accurate. Just me being lazy and not wanting to find flat round discs of the proper size.

That is the best. I love it.

I have to make one of those. I'm a big Halloween fan but there is so little GOOD Halloween decorations on the market. So I'm starting to make my own. Cool...just plain cool.

Well and the bonus with Nightmare Before Christmas stuff is that you can not only put them out for Halloween, but if you really want to creep the mother in law out, you can keep them out clear through Christmas.

What size do you need? What about using a hole saw for a drill?

You'd even have the axl hole and it would be centered.

Well, without having to hit the decorations crates in the attic with a measuring tape, the ducks base is about 10 inches long. As for the circle cutter...good idea, I hadn't considered using one of those...looks like when the duck comes out for the holidays this year he'll be getting some new wheels.

Oh and PLENTY more Nightmare props coming in the next few days :D
