Working on totally revamping the original post to reflect the recent change in direction of my prop collection. More on that later, but in the meantime, I want to share one of my recent acquisitions - an SL Darth Vader ANH helmet, which was cast from a first gen mold of the original screen-used helmet. Beautifully painted and finished by David Carty.
I feel very honored and fortunate to add this piece to my collection.

Another one of my latest acquisitions. She’s a little rough around the edges, but she’s real and still strong! Can’t wait to see newmagrathea work his restoration magic. Dropping it off in the mail tomorrow.

Thanks, man! I’m very grateful for this community and everyone who’s helped me along the way. Wouldn’t have been possible without all the people who’ve taken the time to help and educate me over these past few years.
It’s always great to see someone really go after it and turn out a truly remarkable collection like you have.
Now where is this Horton you mentioned in the title???

...Big thanks to Seneca for giving me the opportunity to recently purchase this beautiful Horton before he listed it publicly. I've been wanting to start collecting the necessary parts for a Chewy blaster for quite some time, and even more so after I decided to shift my focus to only collecting ANH props. He also helped me track down a Zorki 1 camera, a Fender Silverface guitar knob, and a pair of RCA caps for the build. He even gave me a wicked deal on a set of accurate scope rings. Still quite a few more parts to hunt down, but I'm getting there!
