Nichelle Nichols TOS phasers

Justy saw a post on Facebook about Nichelle Nichols having two screen used phasers in her collection, and one will be going up for auction.

What’s the verdict on these?

A lot of midgrade phases are suddenly coming out of the woodwork. The members of the production crew seemed to hand these out like business cards after the demise of the series.

She told me back in the 70’s she had one but I just blew it off to hype.

Who knows? These phasers are always in such a “banged up” condition, when they surface, that they can be tenuously “screen matched” to almost any midgrade that had a close-up during the run of the series.

This revelation would bring the total number of verified original midgrade Phaser II pistols in existence up to 6, I believe, which is very cool.

I hope there are more of these original TOS props out there.
