There are at least two folks who he's sent stuff to just this week that haven't chimed in here. I won't update the list until those recipients post here. :)

PS He got metal armatures in this very afternoon, not sure if they are hero, interceptor or both.

As for oldest to youngest........the answer is yes............almost. Since he has farmed out for help on a few of these projects, each of those people helping will be doing their individual part oldest to youngest............but one may start before another if that makes sense. :) Let me put it this way, if you are on an interceptor list...........the oldest interceptor guy gets his interceptor first. hope that helps :)

again, I'm waiting for two individuals to contact me shortly and I'll update the list accordingly. Everything is moving forward folks.

Dave

Figured I had better put this in it's own post:

Steve received metal armatures and has moulds for TIE Hero/TIE Standards, so those should be fulfilled relatively quickly now.

I'll update as I know something

A few finished studio scale models

Thanks guys for organizing this and informing me, sorry to say I stopped collecting for years already but still wish to put closure to this unending deal

Steve, wish u the best to wrap this up!

Spoke to him yesterday, he's moving forward as planned. TIEs and interceptors are probably gonna be ready to ship the soonest. The Armatures arrived finally. Stay tuned. You'll know specifics when I do. :)

I received two resin parts of the guns today. Not the total guns. I give up...I guess that's the appropriate action to take right now. :thumbsdown

Scott, Steve doesn't include brass tubing in anybody's kit. You were sent Steve's personal kit which had barrels on it that he made himself. All you need is to hit the hobby shop and match the tubing to Steve's original guns, drill holes in the plastic parts and glue them in. That's how he advises everyone to make them because it's too thin to do in just resin. All shuttle kits need to be supplemented with brass tubing. He sent you what you circled in your picture per your request. Hope that helps! :) If you need the actual tubing, he'll make a set of barrels for you, but you need to measure the diameter and lengths of those barrels as he just made that one set for himself. You own the only two barrels that Steve ever made. :) He is more than willing to take care of you man, he sent what you circled, but apparently we are not on the same pag. Let him know.

For garage kits, it's a good thing to purchase a mini metal tubing cutter and keep plenty of metal tubing stocked. You'll use it often. For any gun barrels on SW kits, you want it to be as accurate as possible so you need to replace plastic bits with metal to get them thin like the original models. That's why he didn't even make the barrels as they would have broken in transit at that diameter.

Hope that's helpful,
Peace man,

Dave :)

Thank you for answering in one post what it took months of emails to attempt to understand! :) I will make them myself. I have a little more faith in humanity now...

P.S. - Case closed. Still waiting for Richard to deliver the other parts. Hooray!

hi Dave, sorry to chime in as i am not waiting for anything from steve.
You mention a mini tube cutter, would you have some kind of link for these??
I often need to cut tube straight and i cannot.
Marcel

Search for K&S mini tube cutter, that'll do it. It does roll the edge of the cut though, keep that in mind. TBH, i get far better results with alloy tubing with a mitre and a Razor saw.

lee

Lee is right it does roll the edge, but it's easily fixed with the mini round rasp files especially if you are using brass or aluminum stock tubing. :)

Thanks guys, and Lee I know you would get better reults but I am not a master hobby model maker like you!lol

Sorry again for chiming however it is still very good info!
Thanks again
Marcel

that is absolutely awesome!!
Dam international voltage laws and differences!!!!:angry
do you think it will be alright with supplying 220V to 110V ??

only joking !!!

ManfromNaboo, please don't delete the info about the mini tubing cutter as it does relate to the Shuttle Tyderium and other kits that are items involved in this thread by multiple people. It has much to do with their expectations of these kits and what people should have received in them. I got mine from Hobbytown by the way. :)

Please keep udating this thread when your items arrive my friends. :)

Dave

Update: Tobias R. and J Polachi, you have items coming your way, please watch for them and gimme a heads up when they arrive.
