With my Awesome Mix Vol. 1 run coming to a close, I'd like to begin gauging interest for a run of Vol. 2. Several people who were in on my run of Vol. 1 expressed an interest in getting on board for Vol. 2 if it happened, so... let's make it happen!
I currently have a WIP label that I'm still tweaking. I'll post a pic of the WIP shortly. Obviously, all declarations of "Interested!" will depend on the pics of the final tape. I get that. The tape itself is the same CDing2 that was used for Vol. 1; however, it has one major difference - the two gold arcs from the CDing logo are not visible leading to the conclusion that the logo has either been removed (likely, IMO) or, due to a printing variance, was printed so high on the tape that the label has completely obscured it. I'll post a screen shot or two to show this.
The four dots, molding artifact, and black sections on the tape reels are on the screen-used Vol. 2 tape and they'll be on the tape I use as well.
As with my Vol. 1 run, I plan on placing a label on both sides of the tape. Cost should be the same @ $22 each shipped in the US. International shipping typically runs between $6 -8 more for one tape.
The magic number right now is 40, but this could possibly go up if there's enough interest (2 tape limit per person, please).
If this sounds good to you, post below and I'll start a list. I have a few irons in the fire right now, so a final tape is a at least few weeks away. Once the project gets rolling, I'll be doing it in groups of 10 as I did with Vol. 1. That seemed to work well.

9/12 - Here's my WIP from a couple of weeks ago. I'm redoing the writing to be (much) more screen-accurate. The label will be trimmed a bit more at the top to match the screen used tape. The bottom corners of the label are squared off on the screen tape as well. The logo has been removed to give you an idea of how that will look. The four dots will remain.
9/16 - Definitely coming along. I'm very happy with how the label look but there's still a bit of adjusting left to do. Almost there...

Here's a better reference pic of Vol 2 (thanks, Endless Wonder!). The dots are there (I verified it during one of the four times I saw it in the theater). It's clear that the gold portions of the logo have been removed (or are otherwise not visible).
