My friend Bill has been busy (if slowly) since I've been gone.
I left him my Margolin conversion (a dewat Margolin with my prototype one-piece aluminum spacer/comp), and he dropped it into RTV since he wanted one for himself (I wouldn't give him mine
). Turned out rather well, IMO, as a two-piece solid resin casting.
Meanwhile, my other goofy friend (Dan) has been busy since his latest visit to the heart doctor. He hated the Biker Scout armor that he has been trooping around it (something about a 250 pound 5 foot man in a diaper; something he didn't realize until he finally saw pictures of himself...although WE noticed...), and couldn't get standard Stormtrooper armor to fit right. So, he sculpted his own chest and back armor to go with the helmet that he cobbled together out of one of my APH-6 kits. Rather spiffy, and the price was right
