I took some more pics of my new TOS Phaser. It is a very nice replica.

The batteries are built in the handle, has multiple sounds, retracting emitter, moving nozzle and side turn. Everything is very tight and flawless in the finish. Definately one of my favorite props.

Nice. The profile of my MR phaser still irritates me, with a P1 that appears to be a size too small in profile. It's nice to see one like yours.

What he said. :D

That is very cool. Where did you find it...or more to the point, how can I get one too?

Thanks guys. I got this from a very good friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. I am unsure of who made it or what kit is was from. I wish I could offer up more info, but I just don't know. It is at least 5 years old, possibly older.

Wow. Thats a beautiful and accurate piece for its age.

It may be a Dennis Stines version. His was pretty sharp and had all the "bells and whistles" like yours. The time period would be about right too.

It is very close to the Dstines, but not exact. Some details are the nozzle doesn't ratchet, the unit doesn't vibrate when you fire it, it doesn't have the recharging port in the bottom of the hande (you have to clamp on the posts with alligator clips to charge it), the bottom of the P1 has a tiny switch that changes the sounds (Dstines changes sound by rotating the wheel), the metal clip over the site window is cast or machined solid (Dstines is bent metal), etc. It might be an early Dstines model, but not like the one I have from him.
