New to the forums and Mark 43 forearm

Active Member
Hi everybody,
I'm new to the forum and love looking at all the creations by everybody. So for the premiere of AOU, I made a Mark 43 forearm using abb eliten's files (big props to him). This has been my first first prop. I plan on taking this to the premiere and the STL comic-con next month. I'm a little hard on myself but due to some paint and finishing issues, I don't think it looks as good as it could have been. I'm a computer programmer on the outside so I did arduino stuff with it with some adafruit neopixels for the replusors. It may or may not have sound by the time comic-con rolls around (was having some wiring issues with the soundboard I have). To brighten and dim the neopixels, I used some everyday tilt ball switches, they are simple and they get the job done. For my finishing issues, i bought some XTC-3D after the fact...I've thought about re-doing it but don't have the time. After Comic-con, I plan on doing a Mark III helmet and the arms as I will have a little more time on my hands. To add to this, I've big into computer modding and have done some competitions in the past, the computer I made a couple years ago was based on the Mark V. I've also done a Dark Knight mod as well.
