New to Prop Making

Hello all!

Just joined and also just recently started making props.

Is it possible to make a tooth/fang look real using brush paints? If so what process/techniques do you use?

Also, if anyone knows of any good resources for general painting of props, such as guides and videos, I would be interested in learning more.

There are also some good lightsaber projects that used (PVC?) as part of the grip/section and weather/painted to look like bone/teeth.

Might be worth a search as well..

I never really thought to look up faux Ivory, but sounds promising. I will definitely check it out. Appreciate it.
