The rifle in that post looks like a HK SL8 with a thicker barrel.
There was a cheaper airsoft version produced by Both Elephant. Google Both Elephant SL8 and you'll find pics/info.
Just as a suggestion, you might be able to sell the BAR10 and pick one up. either on an airsoft forum or a shop with one in stock. Would be much easier than trying to turn a bolt action rifle into that. A G36 would make a good base, and there are SL8 conversion kits out there. You can pick up a G36 for peanuts if your not bothered about airsofting with it, there's low priced, plastic gearbox versions out there.
