Hello everyone,

I am so glad to be a new Member of this Forum :)

I just purchased a Richard Coyle Phaser on eBay and have a few questions about it.

The P2 Trigger has broken off.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to have it repaired?

As a side note, I have received several options, from the Seller, of possible fixes.

The fixes include:

1) Sending the Phase to Richard Coyle.
2) Using a small drill bit to drill a hole in the part of the trigger remaining on the P2, as well as drilling a small hole on the detached trigger. Once the holes are drilled, a very small dowl pin could be inserted/glued into both pieces, thus a better/more professional fix could be performed.
3) Using a product called Devcon Plastic Welder. Supposedly, if one never ever want it to break again and if you actually want the two (plastic) pieces to become ONE piece, this is the stuff to use. This stuff is actually chemically melts and then hardens the two plastic pieces together, essentially making them one.

So can the Phaser really be sent to Mr. Coyle to be repaired, and if so, how do I contact him?

Lastly, how do you replace the batteries in the P2?

Thanks,

Jerry

Does anyone have any comments about how to change the batteries?

I don't see how to access them as one would on a MR Phaser or the new Wand Remote Control Phaser (the bottom plate of the grips are fastened by screws).

You can also go to Propsummit.com. Rich is under the handle racprops and you can PM him for a replacement.
