Guys! I was watched Spiderman homecoming and caught a glimpse of the scene where Peter Parker is creating his web fluid, and I got a photo of his book where he recorded the contents of the web fluid and the rough instructions of how to make make it!
The Contents of the Web fluid are:
- salicylic acid
- toluene
- Methanol
- Heptane
- carbon tetrachloride
- Potassium Carbonate
- ethyl acetate
- Hexane
- Beta hydroxy acid (BHA)
- sodium tetraborate
- silica gel
Tools and Equipment Needed:
- Round Bottom Flask
- septum seal
- gas cylinder
- hot plate/ burner
- measuring cylinder
- stir rod
