I pointed this out a while ago, and no one's fixed it yet.

When I HIGHLIGHT a word, and click the 'B' to make it BOLD, it will UN-HIGHLIGHT the word. so in order to add a link, or ITALIC, i have to RE-HIGHLIGHT it.

That's stupid.

PLEASE FIX ! ! !

What browser and version are you using? It will probably help narrow down the issues for the staff.

I just attempted to replicate that error and couldn't make it happen using Safari 5.1.8 or Firefox 18.0.1.

Chrome, windows 7.

Nitpickiest of nits, but when I go to go back a page from anything ranging from PMs to topics, and I hit the backspace key on my keyboard, it doesn't work.

If I hit it 3 or 4 times in a row, it'll take me back a page.

Weird, and annoying. I HAVE TO USE THE BACK BUTTON AT THE TOP OF THE BROWSER LIKE I AM IN SOME THIRD WORLD CRAPHOLE! AAUGGHH :facepalm

Okay, I wasn't sure where the cut off was for issues you wanted to be alerted to. Keep up the good work. :thumbsup

No no... I appreciate it. There is no cut off. It is just something that is going to take a back burner until the forum is resolved.

But... that is the point of the quick navigation at the bottom the page... :confused

I think he may have been referring to adding breadcrumbs to the bottom of the page rather than full navigation.

...Fiction, correct me if I'm wrong.

A lot of small changes to usability, contrast and legibility that makes a huge difference in UX. Good job Mr. Andrews :thumbsup

I accidentally added a attachment in a thread but i can't seem to find a button to delete the attachment. Is it just missing?

I also saw that when editing a post you first press --Edit Post and then for advanced Editing it instead says "Go To Advanced Reply" Seems like it just a error in spelling.

Right. I got that... but the quick nav at the bottom is the answer to copying the breadcrumbs at the bottom of the page. That is why it exists.

We could copy the breadcrumbs and lose the quick nav, but having both is simply redundant.

I've just got to vent a complaint, something that's been bugging me about the new site. As I've gotten used to the new layout and color scheme, the one thing I haven't been able to come to terms with is the huge featured section at the top of the page. I know that it's meant to bring the really important stuff to the front of the page so that everybody can see it, but I think that takes away from everything else. It kind of feels like there's an obstacle in the way of the content. When I come to the page, I either want to go straight to the props or costumes board and see all of what's new there. If I wanted to read about Oblivion I'd click on the entertainment forum, Dredd I'd click on the Dredd forum, etc. So now whenever I come to the forum, I have to scroll down past all that to get to the content. Sadly, this has already changed my browsing habits on the forum, in that I pretty much just check my own threads and my subscriptions from the top of the page and then I leave. I haven't browsed new topics in days. And maybe it's just me, but I also feel like a lot of threads have slowed down or even died since the upgrade, so maybe it's not.

Oh, and on the mobile version of the site, I get a huge white bar on the right side (like 2/3 of my screen) and I can't make it go away.

Go back into the attachment manager and you can delete it. If you didn't actually use the attchment in a post, after an hour, it automatically is deleted.

You mean the huge featured section that we removed from every thread page earlier today?

I noticed that Subscribed Threads is now on the main menu, instead of being in a sub-menu in the same spot. I don't even know what else was in the menu before, but I like it this way a lot! :thumbsup

I asked before, and I believe someone else was asking about it too, but will the "go to first new post" button be added to the New Posts page to be consistent with the rest of the forum? The page used to have it, and it's something I relied on a lot while browsing the forum. I understand if it's not high priority for things to do, I'd just like to know if it's going to return. :)

Yes, we will do our best to add that feature to search results and to New Posts lists. Give us time. Still slogging through hundreds of minor issues.

Cool, thanks. I just wanted to know so I could stop whining. :D
Every time I've visited the forum over the last few days, I've noticed the little additions and changes being implemented from the forum feedback, so it's all appreciated!

Probably raised already, sorry if so. 'My Activity' should only show my posts, correct? It's showing those of another user in addition to mine.
