New RPF artwork thread

re: New RPF "artwork" thread

I've scimmed through this entire thread (again?). This along with the Devianarts thread has me curious how many of you do this for a living? Are there are professionals that draw/paint/ink as a main source of income?

No, never finished that one up...I put it on the back burner for a while (had some other projects to take care of), and when i finally went back to it, I wasn't happy with the way it was turning out.
Ill probably go back to it eventually and fix it up.

re: New RPF "artwork" thread

I see this thing can still work perfectly without me, but since I was there...
Something I did on my journal (I started taking it with me everyday... I use the train a lot recently, so I can do something useful... DRAW again!!!)

Hmm...I guess I can add my contributions now. I created pics of my co-workers in ms-paint. Notice the detail and improvement between the two? I played with shadows, accesories and full body shot :lol

A guy just sent me this render he made of a ship I designed a few years ago. It’s pretty cool to see your work in 3D!

re: New RPF "artwork" thread

While I definitely cannot compare my stuff with the fantastic artists I see with their fancy computer renderings, I'll throw out my last attempt;

It's Acrylic on a 9x12 Canvas
This one is a little different Than the armour & jetpacks and stuff I usually do :lol
It's my first try at painting since I took an afterschool class in the 3rd grade ( that would be 1976-1977) So please be kind with your critiques.
