New Reeve Superman sculpt

Hi,
A friend that I am working with at the moment (Andrew Hodgson) has been working on a Christopher Reeve as Superman sculpt. I think it has turned out beautifully, and he gave me permission to share. These examples are polyester resin with metal fillers (one is aluminium, one is iron) The one on the left is still being buffed.

Hi guys, Andrew Hodgson here. I sculpted the piece and have been waiting for my access to the site to be authorised. I gotta thank Neil for posting the pics and also you guys for your kind comments. I've still got a little work to do on them but when they're finished I'll post again.

I would love to see one of these Christopher Reeves busts finished in flesh with glass eyes.

I was thinking of creating a colour version with eyes but it may take a while around work and other jobs. Who knows :confused

Color could be interesting. Though I like the iron-like appearance. Maybe something with a bronze finish would look nice as well? I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how it all comes out. Great work!

Thanks Neil. It took a while but here I am. And thanks for the welcome guys. Just a quick update on the sculpt. I have 3 castings out of the mould, one in iron, one in aluminium and a final one in white for painting and glass eyes. I'm sure you'll see the white one tomorrow Neil but gonna do a little airbrushing work on it and hopefully bring it to a lifelike finish.
