I bought it from ebay i believe the sellers name is 145will? Its a really thick resin cast but needs to be re enforced with fiberglass in the thin areas (There weren't many).. Check out GB fans.com you can get a shell there. There are about 3 sellers making fiberglass shells at the moment or you can contact exoray here he is also one of the sellers i am talking about.. The best you can buy.

FYI that seller has been banned from the GB community for recasting, not saying his shell is a recast but he has been known to recast other sellers items, including members here...

The weather is here, or at least it was last week, took a turn for the cold right now but it's within in the range that I can get the garage hot enough for fiberglassing without too much trouble... I had planned on doing some shells this weekend but some stuff came up should be doing them in the next day or two...

I actually already have a deposit down on Exoray's pack. Just patiently waiting for Flynn to get good weather to make them easier.

I don't know what it is... Very few props have that original look to them.. Back when there was time put into a prop for a film. Nothing has come close to the originality of the proton pack I think.. Not to mention how much work was put into them.. I highly doubt the particle thrower would be made from aluminum now.. If it was a new film. Its very iconic and almost everybody knows what it is.
