Exec fans, check out the thread over at SSM - if you haven't seen it yet you need to know about this one. 88cm, great detail, accurate outlines.

Thought everybody'd know it. :)

second edit: jeeze I'm not taking any chances this time, PURGING this sucker...

Edit DAMNED STICKY CONTROL KEY...

Where did that pic come from? A really rare Pyro X wing in place of a resin GK SSD....very odd.

I need a new keyboard. I'd copied that link into emails to a couple of friends, then thought I'd copied the SSM link to paste here. Epic fail, I suck, etc. Second time this week. The pic is one that came up on RI this afternoon...briefly.

Whaddya think of the new Exec kit though? Bloody awesome, IMHO!

That's one weird link, alright. You probably want people going here:

Um, sorry, what the? It's fixed already, it was up for like two minutes.

Edit: see what you mean. Thanks for that. God. What does it take to correct a URL? Highlighting the thing and pasting over it SHOULD have overwritten the whole deal, right?

Embarrassment. I slink away in shame now.

I can think of at least 2 people who are cleaning their underpants right about now.

It's in my cache, your cache, everyone's cache who clicked on it and doesn't have their browser's set to check for newer versions of stored pages "every time".

Too late, though. The damage is done. And, this will be changing some relationships for sure.

Well I don't know anything about the owners of the photo, I do know I want to build that one in a bad way. That's the coolest looking X Wing yet.

You poor guy . .someone get him a new keyboard!! :lol

That kit's pretty dang cool!! I like the breakdown of the parts too!!

It wasn't just that - it was actually something weird in HTML in the post itself. When I went into 'edit', it showed the intended URL encapsulating the original one. It DIDN'T show me this while I was doing the first bit of editing. It just pasted over the whole thing.

Oh well. How tragic. :D I remain embarrassed over my incompetence, but I've been told not to worry about it...

Almost agree. I still have the hots for Red 6 in a big way, she'll always be my first love! :D

LOL! It IS a new one - an Apple one, less than a year old.

Ahhhh...whew...been hoping for some discussion of this. It's a nice parts breakdown except for the fantail I guess, but on the built-up example you can see there's little problem with the seam.

I've been obsessing over Executor for nigh on 30 years now and I really can't pick any flaws with this one.

So what are the differences between this one and the korbanth? The korbanth is slightly bigger at 36" (91,44cm) and can be lit with fiberoptics. Is it possible on this one too?

It's hard to say for sure from the pics shown so far but I suspect the hull is cast mostly solid. That doesn't make it impossible, but would be harder.

The main differences are:
* one inch shorter (accurate 1/20000 at 11 miles length)
* proportionally wider hull than the Korbanth
* proportionally shallower hull than the Korbanth
* much thinner edge trenches

Cheers,
Martyn

Very nice,

Overall way more proportionate then the Korbanth, I love the way he did all the various scribed panel lines compared to the simple lines on the
Korbanth model.

Any update on this as yet?

The first kits should have been ready since May..., anyone on this board got one?

Damn, not this sort of thing AGAIN?!? I haven't even heard back about payment/scheduling yet. Dang dang dang.

Falk did get his OK and says it is very nice. Good luck, Thomas.
