Hi everyone, I'm Boo! I've been a longtime stalker of theRPF but figured I should go ahead and sign up since my first cosplay is almost ready to be posted. I'm currently working on a Doctor Fate costume. In the future I'd like to do some Star Wars costumes, specifically Boba Fett and Captain Phasma.

Hi, I'm Kieran,
I've been watching RPF for ages now, figured it was about time to join, hopefully I can get some game props built, probably Overwatch related at least to start!

Hey Im Meg, I've been lurking and building on and off for around 4 years.. mostly out of cardboard fabric and foam.
I'm hoping to get into 3D printing and casting and making more impressive builds.

Im into the video game and star wars props and cosplays. I'm currently working on a Destiny hunter.

Hello to All
I have always been a Costume freak (although a novice), however, I am starting work on the Falcon from the New Captain America Civil War movie. I have been surfing the net looking for ideas and assistance, because some things are well beyond my current expertise. I am simply Amazed at all of the work i have seen on this site. I may be asking for help in making pepakura files/templates, (new to this). Any and all Suggestions, Recommendations, and/or advice are most welcome.

Hello all!

I am on my second ever prop build and love this forum. I originally found it when searching for Adam Savages toolbox designs, and shortly fell into the rabbit hole. The talent and openly helpful members will be a great place to find inspiration, and technique. I work in technology and am in school for mechanical engineering. I am also obsessed with Harley Quinn hence my current project!

I've been in to movies and sfx sence I was 12yrs old after seeing the exorcist. I've done a few props sence then and made a couple short films that can be seen at youtube.com/badzombieproductions. Hello, I am the Pretender. I am a game designer from the Netherlands with a broad interest in various media. I'm currently in analysis paralysis of the moonsword/moonblade of Maiev Shadowsong from Warcraft III and the mask of Amon from the Legend of Korra.

I also play a lot of tabletop games and I may do work on a YouTube show that analyzes the storytelling of games, comics, books and movies to see how they would translate to a tabletop game experience. This will involve a lot of "paper prototyping" as part of it's analysis, where I'll build various props to demonstrate the storytelling in a scene.

Hi RPF :)

my name is Chris and I'm a sysadmin from Bavaria/Germany.
I started my prop adventure two months ago with pepakuras of the guy and thomas helmet. It's been a very enjoyable experience and I learned a lot in the short time.
My plan is to ultimatively make casts of both helmets and equip them with electronics from alexplusleds.

I would really like to share my progress over the next few months with the community but first I wanted to ask for help from other fellow german rpf'ers.
All my knowledge up to this point about the steps involved etc are from american forums and youtube videos and I'm afraid to make grave errors by choosing wrong building materials from german suppliers.
Any advice on what are good german substitutes for bondo and the resins would be greatly appreciated. I'm also looking for links to suppliers of these materials (also silicone).

You can message me privately any time and I'm very much looking forward to learning and making more in the months to come!

Hi all, my name is Mark, I'm a website manager from England. I'm new to this particular field of collecting, I was wanting to get more authentic lightsabers to display, rather than the ones I can swing around and duel with among friends, it was inevitable that the RPF was the place I'd end up.

I'm starting with two projects, firstly hoping to add a crystal reveal chamber to a Romans Props Obi Wan EpIV hilt and I'm also just starting to venture into doing my own saber electrics with the aim of getting capable enough to build more movie saber hilts with all the appropriate bells & whistles!

hello all, my name is kris and i am a chef from the uk. I have always been a perpetual tinkerer, fiddler and maker of things. I am self taught in a variety of fields but am fully aware i'm still an amateur and I am hungry to learn new things and that is what has brought me here. I hope to make some new friends and learn loads.

For my first project I am hoping to make an ambitious, detailed and in depth guyver suit and hope to get some advice, criticism and support from you wonderful and talented bunch.

Craig here AKA SIlverstalker from The Dented Helmet, I am expanding into more prop making so it's time to join the RPF and see what this community is like and what I can bring to it :thumbsup

I'm Dave from Whitby, Ontario, Canada. Fifth Element has been my favorite Sci-Fi Fantasy movie. I enjoy creating interior design lighting FX for my own home. Halloween and Christmas are my favorite times to try new things. Inspired by Corbin Dallas' blue suite on Phloston Paradise, my latest project is to integrate LED strip lighting right inside crown moulding, not just cheap rope light thrown on top. This keeps the classical look of clean white mouldings during the day, while the magical lighting FX come out at night. I have built a good working prototype over the last year, about 3ft long, solving many challenges. My next step is to complete a full room, my own Phloston Paradise. I love tinkering in my mancave workshop, losing myself in projects, time stands still.

Hey everybody!

I'm Darrell from the US, found out about this site from the boys over at tested on youtube. Been lurking about for a couple of days and decided to go ahead and register. Total amateur looking to learn and start making! Excited, and happy to be here!

Well hello there !

I'm Maylis, from France ! I found this website by, err... "accident" ? Actually I was looking for some pepakuras to make a whole new cosplay after my final exams, because I'll finally have some spare time in July. So yeah, I wanted to do Commander Shepard from Mass Effect 3 (because the Kai Leng file that I've found wasn't unfolded ;; ) And also, I wanted to do a Captain America's Helmet, just for fun this time. I'd also like to cosplay some Marvel Characters, maybe Iron Man if I got the motivation (and the money haha).
I do love Marvel's Universe-s- (also DC's one-s-),and video games. Any spare time I got, I use it to either play video games, or read some comics.
I've almost forgot to mention that I'm not a native english speaker, and that the way we learn english in France sucks so much, that I've mostly learn all by myself. So please, correct me if I make some mistakes ! :)

I am not a member of the 501st but would like to be someday. I look fwd to sharing my new armor building experience with all of you!
