Hi guys,
my name is Craig I'm from New Zealand and have been advised to have a look around therpf and join.
so I finally have and here I am.
I have heard about the forum on mythbusters one of my all time fav shows and from others on line here.
i was bitten by the costume bug a couple of years ago and have put together an AT AT costume with out the moon boots (still looking for those) and have a Darth vader costume but need a better helmet for trooping. (am working on an anarchy design lid at the moment).
Now I am collecting movie props and would like to have a go at making some replicas along the way.
My online name is badges2nz, due to my liking of LAPD badges and FBI etc of which I have a few, along with uniforms etc.
i look forward to finding out how things can be done, see if I can contribute where possible and maybe once a bit more confident with manufacture become a premium member and contribute here as well.
if I can be of any help then I'll try my best otherwise I might be asking a lot of questions for help and assistance.
i look forward to catching up with all who want to make contact.

Hey all, my name is Tomas and I'm really mostly here (the RPF, that is) for Star Wars. I'm a 501st hopeful, with my first armor build just around the corner. I've been on other costuming forums for a while now (mostly the FISD forum) and I think that the RPF will be a great place to expand on this developing hobby of mine.
Looking forward to some great interactions with everyone!

Hello everyone,

My name is David, I just found out about this community after watching a video from CommanderHolly on YouTube (http://youtu.be/i7WTGa3rWv0). I'm really excited to be here and to meet different people who like things whether it just be going to conventions or cosplaying. I'm currently working on a couple projects with some help from my brother. One cosplay I'm working on personally is Papyrus from Undertale. I do have a couple of questions, but because of this being a thread for introducing one's self, I'm going to post it somewhere appropriate so to not step on anyone's toes. Anyways everybody again really glad to be here, can't wait to be more involved.

Hi all my name is Angel from Florida. I'm into science fiction and FPS as well as MMO games and COSPLAY. Looking forward to meet in the future at a CON.

Hi all I love to figure out how things are made, not all the time do I get to build them though :( not enough moula to trade, lol, quoting ja ja. lol

Hello all, I'm Ray and I joined here for advice on prop building, to show what I have made, and to see what other amazing props/costumes people have made here! I've been a, shall we say, modeling enthusiast, but have only just gotten into bigger things like lighting up the kits I build.

Recently I have purchased the Stapleton Productions Boomerang Phaser, Nemesis 'Dolphin" Phaser, and the Type IX, X or XI Science Tricorder kits and am currently in the process of building them up.

Hi,

Been lurking a while, came across this site looking for Star Wars costumes. Interested in putting together a TFA Tie pilot. Amazed at the talent here!!

I work as a welder in the aerospace industry and I love Toyota 4x4's!

Thanks

hey there!

im new here even if ive been lurking for a while, im now getting serious about this hobby and i want to be part of a community that supports the habit! im looking for advice to start a small scale first project and im open to suggestions!

After a few years of reading in this forum, I'd like to become an active member.

I used to be a prop maker for LARP for several years, specialized on foam melee weapons. =D
Now I'd like to keep prop making as a hobby.

Like many others I am into the Star Wars blasters for which I am trying to collect all needed parts at the moment.
I hope to be able to show some builts in the near future.

Hello Folks,
looking to build some props from Star Wars. Mostly lightsabers but also a Han Solo DL-44. In the future I would like to forge a Link's Master Sword. Who knows where this world will take me!
Anyhow just saying HI!

Hi,

New to the world of sabers, but have my heart set of building as exact as possible Lukes ESB lightsaber... Came here for excellent advice after reading the forums to make sure I do it right.

Just got back from my second viewing of Force Awakens, this time in 3D, was paying a lot of attention to the saber to make sure I get the details right...

Looking forward to finding out more. Big fan of most Sci Fi movies, and really into props. Used to be a pro model maker, before I needed to be able to afford a mortgage and had to go sensible...
