Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Hey there, my name is Johan... I'm currently working on a Dr. Doom suit, hopefully it comes out well. I want to base it on the model from Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom and I have done the helm from a pep file I found in these forums, hopefully it turns out well.

Hello all. My name is Ryan, been interested in costume and prop making for a long time, and have recently gotten into it. I have seen some pretty amazing stuff here and hope to get better at the craft as time goes by. Just keeping it simple for now though. See you on the forums.

hello all.. my name is Allen, and live in UK

i'm fairly new to prop making. i came across this website by accident while searching for MMPR helmets. my son is a MMPR fan from an early age. just recently he's asked me to make him the white ranger costume, which i can gladly say the helmet is completed and working on the body piece and sword as we speak.
i'm also in the process of making a master chief armour, but so far just got the helmet and 3/4 of the body armour in pepakura. still a long way to go with that one.

my main reason i joined this community is that i'm on the search for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers helmets (the full set) so i can resize the pepakura files to make the helmets 6inches high for display purposes for my son. i already have the following helmets..

* white ranger (unable to adjust size)
* pink ranger (ready to resize)
* green ranger (ready to resize)
* yellow ranger (needs unfolding)
* black ranger (needs unfolding)

still searching for the red and blue ranger pepakura files.

i would be greatful if anyone could help me with the ranger helmets to get them made only 6inches high for my son.

Hey everybody! Sean here, in the process of making my first costume for New York Comic Con. Gonna be a Psycho from Borderlands, and it's coming out very well! I have everything but the mask done, also need the belt and holsters but that's no biggie.

Here's my axe :)

Hi, I'm Parker. I'm pretty new to the worlds of cosplay and prop making, but have enjoyed wearing costumes 'just because' for as long as I can remember. The first movie prop I made was a cardboard/paperboard Wall-E costume (and then Hal & the plant) a few years back... Using only the movie and a 2.5" model of Wall-E for reference. I had plans to age him, but he was left unfinished.

Current prop interests: Harry Potter, The Amazing Spider-Man, Pirates of the Caribbean, Back to the Future and Wall-E. I'm endlessly impressed by the prop creators on this website! Thank you all for the inspiration.

hello everyone, im new here. just started looking at all the batman stuff here, and its FREAKIN AWESOME. I decided to turn my garage into a batcave, since my step kids call me batman (im a bouncer at night, and sometimes come home with a bruise or two, and they always ask how i get them, so long story short, youngest said hes like batman, hence where it came from) and im looking at getting replicas of as much batman stuff as i can....look forward to being here.

Hi all. I'm James from Lakeland, FL.
Don't really build a lot of props. The occasional Enterprise and such. But my love of Sci-Fi more than makes up for the lack.
Found my way here via Starship Modeling following a link to Glorbes' TOS Bridge Build. Then I started loitering about. Liked what I saw and joined.

Thanks.

Hello

My name is Keith White - I recreate screen used props from scratch. My company name is Skreeps - short for Skreen Props - I am working on an exact reproduction of the Hover board used in BBTF2. I am using real lenticular material and exact cast parts from the original screen used prop. Stay tuned I am going to post the final product within the next 10 days. I look forward to meeting my fellow craftsmen.

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

Geez, I already started posting on a couple of posts even before I saw this little meet and greet area! Well, howdy everyone! I've always been a lurker and only recently have I started to post. I'm mainly going to be involved with Avengers things but primary focus on Captain America. As a matter of fact I have purchased the UDReplicas CATFA motorcycle suit and I can offer some of my own insight as to people who may want to pull the trigger on their suits.

Re: ** New Members: Please Introduce Yourselves Here! **

"Hello, everybody!" "Hello, Dr. Nick!"

Been a lurker here for a while, and I really enjoy reading/seeing what other people are working on and the different designs and such. I'm a huge Iron Man and Spiderman fan from my childhood, but I enjoy a large gamut of sci-fi, fantasy writing, anime, and general geek.

I'm an elec eng student in Thunder Bay, Ontario, but originally from Newfoundland, and primarily I'm involved in electronics and the sort, but as a kid I build model cars and planes and such, so now it's kind of drifted into props and "active-models" with lights and action. My last couple of projects have been my Mk. I wearable Arc Reactor, and a prototype Repulsor arm-unit is in the works along with a new MkIV PCB light board and mask so it can be worn under a shirt for fun.

I'm currently working on a design for a Guardian Keytool from Reboot, but rather than just the box on my arm, I want to make it functional and interactive so I'm integrating a voice-rec board and a microcontroller to respond to voice commands with gear movement and RGB lighting. This is still in the design phase, but I hope to get my development VR board soon.

I hope to talk to many of you soon, and here's to happy building!
